2009 GEORGIA STATEWIDE CONFERENCE Knowledge is Power. Join us at this year’s Georgia Statewide hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Payroll Association on, Friday, August 14, 2009 and ……POWER UP YOUR PAYROLL.

Association website. We are a nonprofit organization centered on
providing continuing education to payroll, accounting and human
resource professionals. We are an autonomous and independent
Chapter of the American Payroll Association.
Our meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month
alternating between Breakfast at 7:30am and Dinner at 5:30pm.
The meetings are held at the Holiday Inn Select located at I-285

IRS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
2009 SOCIAL SECURITY LIMIT: $106,800
2009 401k MAXIMUM: $16,500
2009 401K CATCHUP REMAINS AT: $5,500
2009 MILEAGE: 55 cents/mile - Medical/Moving mileage will be
24 cents and the Charitable mileage remains at 14 cents.
Effective July 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008, the new mileage
rate is 58.5 cents per mile, up from 50.5 cents per mile earlier this year.
This is due to high price of gasoline. The medical and moving mileage
rate will be going to 27 cents per mile and the medical mileage remains
at 14 cents per mile.
